This is a very unique and affordable rustic picnic table kit. What you do is buy 2×4′s to finish out this kit. All the frames for the table and seats are included and all you do is supply the 2×4′s. Even the hardware is included! What is nice about this is that you can buy any type of 2×4 you want to make the table out of. If you want a rustic cedar table, use cedar 2×4′s. Want Pine or Black Walnut, then use 2×4′s made from those types of wood.You can literally make a rustic picnic table out of any lumber you want so long as you can cut it in a 2×4 size.

While I wouldn’t use this type of outdoor furniture in my yard, I can see where it would have its supporters. It’s very easy to assemble and anyone who has some DIY skills would do very well with it. Not only that, but it is very generously proportioned. Like I said above, it will seat us big people just fine and you can get a whole passle of youngins around it. It’s 94.5 inches from point to point. That should give you some idea of how massive this picnic table is. In fact, the manufacturer recommends you have someone present to help you unload it! Yeah, it’s that big! The table top itself is 58 and 3/4″ from point to point! Now you can get a lot of food and drink on a table top that size. That’s nearly five feet from point to point!

62″ Treated Pine Octagon Walk-In Picnic Table

While we’re talking about massive rustic picnic tables, no conversation of them can happen without mentioning the huge 62″ treated pine octagon picnic table from Fifthroom. It has plenty of seating for friends and family and being manufactured out of treated lumber, you can hose it off with the garden hose after using it. Just remember, never use a power washer to clean your wooden outdoor furniture. It’s one sure way to ruin the wood and it would be a shame to do that after paying a premium price for premium rustic outdoor furniture.
